Hello Mikala and Jesse. It sounds like you're enjoying your stay in Panama. I've put some information together about the trip we took to the Galápagos.
We started in Quito, Ecuador and flew to Baltra Island on Tame Airlines. We traveled to Santa Cruz Island via bus-ferry-bus to the main town of Puerto Ayora. The town has numerous shops, restaurants, and places to stay. In Puerto Ayora, we stayed at the Red Mangrove Inn which we enjoyed very much. During our stay, we explored the town, went to the Charles Darwin Research Station, went diving a couple of times, and took a boat tour. It's a trip we'll never forget. Below, I've included information about the Galápagos along with some of the details of our trip.
Let us know if you have any questions. Enjoy your trip and take some great pictures.
Here are some maps: first shows the Galápagos archipelago, second shows the airport in Baltra and the route to Puerto Ayora, third is a street map for Puerto Ayora.

We boarded the Santa Fe II yacht at the Itabaca Channel. We traveled north to North Seymour Island. Most of the pictures below are from North Seymour Island. The next stop was Bachas Beach on Santa Cruz Island. The trip cost was approximately $130 (which included lunch) and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
This is where you can see giant tortoises.
This is the most populated town in the Galápagos Islands and has the best developed infrastructure.
This was one of our dive trips east of Santa Cruz Island.
This is where we stayed. The cost was approximately $145 per night.
